Totally agree with you on this — it’s honestly exhausting trying to guess what baggage rules apply based on which Lufthansa group airline is operating the flight that day. The lack of consistency is frustrating, especially when you’ve already paid for a certain fare and then have to double-check everything just because it's City vs. CityLine. A unified system like Air Dolomiti's would make things so much smoother. Hopefully Star Alliance steps in soon — passengers deserve clear, consistent service.

The comments mix up a wide range of unrelated topics. Air Dolomiti may join Star Alliance – but Star is not joining EN. Fundamentally, both comments are difficult to comprehend: baggage allowances are fully harmonized across all fare types within the entire Lufthansa Group. The claim that allowances vary spontaneously depending on the aircraft type is entirely unfounded.
