Nach dem Übersichtsfoto - das leider nur auf der Startseite erscheint - sollte es wohl eher heißen: 19 Betonplatten, 26 cm dick und 2,4 m tief. Wären es Pfeiler, dann wäre der Wall überflüssig gewesen.

Noch ein Mangel. In Google Street View ist auch deutlich zu sehen, dass die Anflugbefeuerung nach dem Wall auch in keiner Weise kollisionssicher sind: massive, klappbare Stahlmasten.

Nein das ist schon richtig:

Ich finde leider die bessere Schematic nicht mehr, diese hier erklärt es aber auch. Das ganz Ding sieht aus wie eine Brücke auf Pfeilern, und dem Brückendeck stehen die Antennen und die Pfeiler sind mit Erde zugeschüttet

Danke für den Hinweis. Nicht nur lag auf dem Wall eine massive Betonplatte sondern im Wall selbst war noch ein Kamm aus Betonplatten versteckt.
