Either Al Baker is wanting to pull out in favor of Airbus (what's Airbus offering him, I wonder), or he wants to save face by looking like he's mad, mad, mad. He reminds me of Mr. O'Leary who pranced around talking about "raping" Boeing...LOL.

Anyway, his comments are telling. "Al Baker says he believes Boeing is "doing things too late. Unfortunately Boeing is not run by commercially minded people, it is being run by bean counters and lawyers and if they continue this way they will give an even bigger advantage to Airbus."

Well, duhhhhhhh - of course Boeing is run by bean-counters and lawyers. They simply don't have a bottomless well of money they can tap into, and even if they did, money can't always make things magically happen. If Mr. Al Baker is so commercially minded he would have opened a fastener shop long ago.
