Ich schrieb von einer wünschenswerten zukünftigen Situation, nicht von der Ist-Situation.
Wenn es nichts zu verändern und verbessern gäbe, dann bräuchten wir ja auch nicht zu diskutieren, oder?

Now you cant take water through the Passport control, so this means you must buy something to drink in the airport after the control. This means you will pay maybe 2euros or more for only water. Its all money making. I wonder what it will cost in the plane. If you are traveling with kids you will be paying 8-10 euros or more. If you are flying 8-10hrs then you will pay this about 3x ..... so all together 30euros one way or 60euros two ways only for water. Remember it is important to drink when you are up there and not only that also the air is very dry and this will want you to drink.
Its a big risk if you dont drink.........people will want to save money and wont buy so much.
Maybe planes will have to land at other airports because people ar getting sick on there flight.
Now this will cost alot of money to land at an other airport.

When you are going on vacation and park your car near or at the airport, that costs you about 30-50 Euros a week - just for standing around. Your family should be worth that amount of money too.

For Daniel 1138

Sorry but I think you did not get the point.
My family 1st, I would pay 100euros or more one way for water.
I´m not talking about Parking we are talking about food & drinks on a flight.
Its just not right to pay exrta for all these things.
First food, then drinks, then only 15 kg, then a suit case, then a extra seat because you are over 100kg then, then.......where will this end.

Just think about your parking, how big is you car, how high, how long, how many kg, how long dose it have tuv, how many wheels..........no end !!!
All you want is a end price and if your happy with it you will pay it.

Thats all

Saludos

When you travel from Barcelona to Malaga by train - how many free drinks and food do you get on the train?! - Maybe you get my point...

...and the trip to Malaga by train is surely as long as a flight from Barcelona to New York...

Sure, in the future service will cost more and more, BUT when I pay for service it better will be very good - I really can´t blame bad service when its free, but when I have to pay for it, my expectations will be much higher.

I don´t care about the plan of United to sell the inflight meals. The stuff is inacceptable anyway. I have a personal problem with the meals of United since they offered me something i call (due to the non-existance of a better word) cooked croissant with substances similar to cheese an ham as a breakfast. When i didn´t have to pay 10$ more for the higher fuel price, get my United Plus seat (really good for people above 190cm) and the stewardesses don´t bother me with this unacceptable meals ... all is well ....

@daniel: The service isn´t free today, you pay for it with your ticket, as it´s included .. there is nothing like a free lunch, especially not in aircrafts...

For Daniel

When I take a train, I know what I bought, a train ticket thats all.
I can take drinks and food with me.

When I buy a flight ticket to the USA I know I get drinks and food.
This is service
When someone comes to my house, I give them something to eat and drink.
The airlines say ¨feel like at home¨.
When you eat something on a long flight, this helps time go by fast.
