EASA erteilt Automatikmodus im A380-TCAS die Zulassung
TOULOUSE - Die Europäische Agentur für Flugsicherheit (EASA) hat einen neuen Automatikmodus im Kollisionswarnsystem (TCAS) des Airbus A380 zugelassen. Dies gab Airbus in einer Mitteilung bekannt. Im Auto-Pilot/Flight-Director (AP/FD) Modus müssen die Flugzeugführer nach einer TCAS-Warnung vor Einleitung eines Ausweichmanövers nun nicht mehr zunächst den Autopiloten oder Flight Director ausschalten.
Die hierdurch gewonnene Zeit geht mit einer erheblichen Steigerung der Flugsicherheit einher, teilte Airbus mit. Das neues System ist zudem in der Lage, selbständig auf eine drohende Kollision mit einem anderen Flugzeug zu reagieren und ein Ausweichmanöver in die Wege zu leiten.
Als erster Betreiber wird Air France das neue System einsetzen, doch auch Lufthansa will die Technologie in ihrer A380-Flotte einführen.
Der AP/FD Modus soll nach seiner Zulassung für den Airbus A380 über die kommenden Jahre auch in anderen Fly-by-Wire Flugzeugen des europäischen Herstellers nachgerüstet werden können.

Ja, mit Sicherheit SDFlight !
Aber ein paar Idioten haben fachkundiges Personal hier rausgeekelt.
Ich weiss leider nichts drüber - aber nach der Kollision im Süden Deutschlands, war es wohl ein nötiger Schritt der Designabteilung - und wenn solch grosse Airliner dies haben wollen, war dies wohl auch die richtige Entscheidung.
@NOK - bin gerad im Urlaub, und deswegen kein "PS" :)
